35. Jìn 晉

Above is the trigram Li (Fire), below is the trigram Kun (Earth). The metaphorical image of this hexagram is the Sun rising above the Earth, the time of sunrise. The rising sun brings new beginnings and hope for the future, hence the hexagram Jin foretells a period of confident advancement forward and the emergence of many opportunities. Obstacles do not hinder this advancement, or they will soon be eliminated, and we are provided with the opportunity to achieve our goal.
Just as sunlight illuminates everything around, so can clarity come to you about what was previously hidden or unclear. Complexity and difficulty give way to clarity and order. You have either already achieved the desired result or will soon achieve it. This is an excellent omen, as you are likely to succeed without exerting too much effort. However, remember that just as struggle strengthens character, too easy advancement forward can weaken it. Let success not go to your head, remember that this period will someday come to an end, as changes are constant, and fighting them is pointless.

Avoid satiety and pride; in such moments, it is easy to fall into the trap of selfishness. Remember, everyone can move from darkness to clarity. Enlightenment is clarification. Ancient Daoists believed that man is inherently endowed with a divine nature of recognizing good and the ability to do good. Remember about inner harmony and steadiness.
