Above is the trigram Li (Fire), below is the trigram Qian (Heaven). The metaphorical image of this hexagram is a person possessing powerful and significant resources, which he has mastered thanks to the correct and harmonious movement through the path of life. Fire above being, the sun shines over the earth, and Heaven below indicates inner strength with external clarity. In this situation, clarity prevails, obstacles disappear, prosperity and abundance are manifested.
Focus on fulfilling those desires that will strengthen your position in affairs and allow you to achieve success. Although this period is very favorable, still try not to overburden yourself and be cautious in striving for your goal. It is quite achievable for you if you constantly keep it in sight.
Da Yu teaches us how to step onto the Path of Possessing Greatly and remain on it. As the I Ching says: 'as soon as evil (unkind) thoughts arise, they are immediately repelled (rejected), stopping and halting them; as soon as good thoughts arise, they are immediately promoted, nurtured and cultivated. Thus, being obedient to Heaven, you stop (calm) and make beautiful your fate. When you are able to repel evil and promote good, then over time you will come to a state of good in the absence of evil. From absence you move to presence (possession), and from possession – to Great (Possession). When a person lives in peace, fate is the greatest. To have fate means he lives, no fate means he dies. If not able to calm your fate (stop the action of fate), then though there be many presences (possessions) outside, they all remain illusory. To be able to calm your fate requires obedience to Heaven.'
Almost everything in our life depends on our thoughts, their direction, and our ability to control our stream of thought. Moreover, we do not immediately come to a state of resource abundance, this is preceded by a period of difficult and intense work, both internal and external. To maintain this state and not dissipate accumulated and achieved can only be by following the law of Heaven, that is, harmony and proper flow of life energy. Only in this way can you, in the words of ancient Daoists, 'stop the action of fate'.
